Cauliflower stew with white beans


I like raw cauliflower and also different stews and baked dishes with this beautiful and tasty vegetable.  I even love the smell of a boiled cauliflower. It reminds me something heartwarming from my childhood 🙂 To make this dish more filling I added some beans. It is super easy and perfect with some bread on the side or served with rice.

  • 14 oz / 400 g cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup / 240 ml water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • little piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • salt to taste
  • pinch of ground black pepper
  • 400 oz / 400 g canned beans in tomato sauce
  • fresh herbs


Bring water to a boil. Add all the ingredients. Boil, until the cauliflower is soft. Serve with fresh herbs.
